Saint Mary's Academy was a big part of Nauvoo History. We are raising funds to place a permanent marker to remember the Girls of Saint Mary's.

The Icarian cookpots were used by the colony to prepare large meals everyday. The signage would be placed beside the pots in the side yard of the Weld House and would better explain what they are.

Edwint T. Layton was bornin Nauvoo in 1903. He played a pivotal role in the Battle of Midway during WWII. This will put a sign up in his hometown to remember him.
